Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when Throne Era Studio ("Throne Era", "we") will refund money you have paid for a subscription to the Throne Era service.

Plain summary. Full refund within 14 days of your first paid month, if you have generated fewer than 5 reigns. Pro-rated refund if the Service was unavailable for an extended period. We honour mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country.

1. 14-day first-month refund

If you are a first-time subscriber, you may request a full refund of your first paid month within 14 calendar days of the charge, provided you have generated fewer than 5 completed reigns during that period. This window does not apply to renewal charges, only to a user's first ever paid month.

2. Service unavailability

If the Service is unavailable to you for an extended period during your billing month due to a fault on our side (not including scheduled maintenance announced in advance, third-party outages outside our reasonable control, or actions taken to enforce the Terms), you may request a pro-rated refund equal to the number of days of unavailability divided by the days in your billing period.

3. Mandatory consumer-protection rights

If you live in a jurisdiction that grants statutory refund or withdrawal rights for digital services (for example, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive, where it applies), those rights are honoured in addition to this policy. Where you have asked us to begin providing the Service immediately and you start playing within the withdrawal period, you may lose the right of withdrawal for the part of the Service you have already consumed, in accordance with applicable law.

4. What we will not refund

  • Renewal charges, except where Section 2 or Section 3 applies, or where required by mandatory law.
  • Charges older than 90 days at the time of the request.
  • Charges on accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Cancelled subscriptions for the remaining portion of the current billing period, except as required by Section 2 or 3.
  • Fees charged by your payment provider, bank, or country (for example, currency conversion or local taxes), which we do not control.

5. How to request a refund

Email billing@throneera.com from the email address on your account. Please include:

  • The email address associated with your subscription.
  • The approximate date of the charge you would like refunded.
  • The reason for the request (you are not required to give detail beyond what is needed to confirm eligibility).

We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 – 10 business days, depending on your bank.

6. Chargebacks

We prefer to resolve billing issues directly. If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, your account may be automatically suspended until the chargeback is resolved.

7. Updates

If we update this policy in a way that reduces your rights, we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or in-Service notice, and the updated policy will apply only to charges made after the effective date.
